Establishment of Council for Anti-Boryokudan Gangs Measures at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station

We extend our deepest sympathy to those affected by the Tohoku-Chihou-Taiheiyou-Oki Earthquake occurred on March 11, 2011.

With the instruction and cooperation from the National Police Agency (NPA), TEPCO will establish "Council for Anti-Boryokudan Gangs Measures at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station" on July 22 in order to strengthen the coordination with partner companies and NPA and ensure the exclusion of Boryokudan gangs.

1.Objectives
(1)To prevent crimes by Boryokudan members and conduct information sharing and education activities to exclude Boryokudan members
(2)To strengthen the coordination as to Boryokudan exclusion activities conducted by police and the National Center for the Elimination of Boryokudan
(3)To ensure the shutoff of the relationship with antisocial forces, having written oath from partner companies

2.Organizational Structure
·Chairman: General Manager, General Affairs Department of TEPCO (Plan)
·Deputy-Chairman: 3 Companies including construction companies and manufacturers among Original contractors (Plan)
·Member: Original contractors in restoration work (23 companies)
