Tokyo Shimbun (Newspaper) of June 29 reported "The Headquarter building(s) (of TEPCO) has(ve) been under consideration of temporary sale by securitization" and "The land which had been temporarily used as former Mita Junior High School buildings in Mita, Minato-ku which TEPCO owns will be sold."
TEPCO announced "Present Policy for Business Efficiency Improvement and Streamlining" on May 20 and presented a policy of "selling off properties excluding those needed for electric power supply". At this moment, however, there are no facts that TEPCO has made any decisions on "securitization of the headquarter buildings" or "sale of the land which had been temporarily used as former Mita Junior High School buildings."
We deeply apologize for the anxiety and inconvenience caused by the accident at our nuclear power plant stations.
