Requirements from the New Regulatory Requirements: ●Surveys should be conducted to check fault activities around the power station.
Actions taken at the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station: ●Research on variant topography, surface geology, and geophysics was conducted within a 30km radius of the power station
　and active faults that can be considered as an epicenter were assessed.
●Trench survey, boring survey and reflection survey were conducted within a 5km radius of the power station and found no active faults
　that need to be considered as an epicenter.
